Second batch of old Clickteam Fusion games should be coming later this week. At this point, I've gone through about 2/3 of them.

Here's another one. In 2006, I graphically remade my first game, Zackulback Adventures, to practice my pixel art skills.

Going through the code on this one is fascinating. At the time, I didn't know string objects could hold multiple paragraphs. So I swapped positions of multiple string objects to show different lines of dialogue. Got to appreciate my past self's inventiveness even if it's janky.

Another upcoming legacy game. A Zelda-inspired sidescroller from August 2005. Considering I only just learned Clickteam Fusion a month prior, there's surprisingly a lot of depth.

You can stab or slash your sword and you can even charge up a super mode.

There's a quirkiness to my old Clickteam Fusion games that I forgot about. It adds an extra charm to what are otherwise fairly simplistic games. I could learn a thing or two from my past self.

When going back and updating this game after a decade, I thought I might add a new music track. For authenticity, I chose to limit myself only to soundfonts that I had access to in 2014 to make it sound like something I would have made at the time.

I forgot to show this off, but I made this as an avatar for VRChat. Droplet wishes you Happy Halloween!

While I'm going through my old Clickteam Fusion games, thought I might also go through my not-as-old games. (This one's from 2014). This was originally ported to flash before I had to change it to HTML5 in a rush because flash died. So I'm doing a 2.0 version of it.

Another port of a 20 year old Clickteam Fusion in the works. You are trying to stop planet Pluto from being destroyed by aliens. Yes...Pluto was still a planet when this game was made.

Don't go to this level in my game after midnight. You might get some unexpected prying eyes.

My game is not a horror game, but that's not to say there aren't some scary moments.

This video is somehow doing better than most of my Droplet devlogs. It seems I have found a new niche.
To celebrate the release of Droplet: States of Matter as well as the 20th anniversary of Krayfish Entertainment, I have publicly released nine games that I originally created from 2005 to 2007. They are available to play on the Krayfish Entertainment website! Link below! youtu.be/SmzNhEXrsfE

I still have a few more legacy games on that old hard drive. Should I release those too?

The batch of Clickteam Fusion games are almost ready to go! Here's another peek at one of them. In 2006, I adapted The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle into a sidescroller for a school asssignment. It's the first game I made with a plot more complex than "beat all levels".

I'm working on converting a PowerPoint point and click game I made in 2005 into a browser playable format. All the original graphics and sounds preserved for authenticity.

Whoah! I never would have thought people would spend so much time playing my game! I think my worries about it being too short were unfounded.

From a game I worked on when I was 12 years old. I thought I was being funny with these object names. But now I'm really regretting it. Well played past me.

Something strange dawned on me about the Multimedia Fusion games I've been working on. A handful predate not just the Wii but also the Xbox 360. They aren't just homages to retro games. They 'are' retro games. I wonder what that says about me.

A screencap from one of my old Multimedia Fusion games from 2006. This was meant to be a joke, but today, it hits way differently.

I have three of these Multimedia Fusion games ready to go! I think what I'll do is that once more of these games are done, I'll release them all at once as one big website expansion.
Before I start work on my next big commerical release, I'm planning to work on some small projects. One of those is porting some never before released Multimedia Fusion games I made from 2005 - 2007. I dug through some old drives to pick the best ones to share. More info soon!

Hi, I'm Krayfishkarl and I made a 3D platformer called Droplet: States of Matter. It took seven years but it's the dream game I've always wanted to make! Using water, ice, cloud and plasma forms, explore the Noble Gas Kingdom across 30+ uniquely themed levels!
