Which is great cuz d12s are the best, and also you can model how empty/vast space is while providing an off ramp into "guaranteed action" when you want that.

I'm really excited for this table because I want it to be *nested*. Start of with broad topics of what you might find in a given corner of space, and then zero in on specifics.

I'm also gonna do my favorite dice trick with the %s of results. The table is d20, but 13-20 are "empty space". So...

I'm so deeply looking forward to getting back into the *writing* side of game dev. And I should be able to tonight! Gotta pick out spells for an actual play I'm recording, and then writing up a deep dive of Mörk Sol spaceship combat. And if I'm speedy with those, a random encounter table!!!

Part of that is because 99% of what I'm working on is in the Shipping and Marketing buckets. That stuff is essential to the business, but it's also just... not as fun to talk about.
