I have to wonder if that whole section was a victim of the rumored last-minute plot rewrites Dawntrail got. Like maybe the implication you were genociding effectively real people -really- wasn't landing well so they had to hastily go back and add those justifications into the dialogue

I don't even dislike it because of that, I dislike it because it wouldn't commit one way or the other. It's tragic you're shutting down the nfts cuz they're humanized but also they don't mind being shut down and it's okay to do so and you shouldn't feel bad. Like you can't have it both ways lmao
