I finished the Wizard of Oz quilt for my granddaughter, who is in the play this weekend. I hoarded that fabric for decades; I'm thrilled I finally used them. No leftovers, I used them for the back. I'm trying to sew and quilt continually to counter the political situation in our country.

I bought a new all terrain walker so I could get to a good spot at the Joliet, IL protest. Then I used it to sit. It was a tremendous day with family and friends. Then we went out for tacos 🌮 😋

I finished my Alice Books quilt. I made too many blocks, but it worked out. The backing fabric wasn't wide enough, so I added a panel. Onto the next project.

I finished this Fish quilt for my grandson. It's instead of flowers for when he's in a Swamp play in July. Next, I need to make a Wizard of Oz quilt for his sister. I love being a quilting Grandma.

Last summer I made a #babyquilt for physical therapist after my right hip replacement.

For a while I was making this heart quilt consistently. I still like the pattern, I just made enough, I got it out of my system! My kids and grandchildren still have them, that's important to me.

Years ago I made my first & only paper pieced quilt. My daughter had requested it. I didn't enjoy the process. Later, I found 4 leftover blocks and made a door quilt. I just put it out as #Valentine's day is near.

My grandson had a bloody nose on his very #modernquilt I made him several years ago. So it came home to Grandma to be carefully washed, dried, and made good as new. It's fun to revisit a quilt from the past and admire past handiwork. #grandmalife 💙💚

I changed my sheets, took a hot bath and put on cleans pj's. I'm going to sleep so well tonight under this warm quilt. I made it from my husband's shirts. #Goodnight!

I donated the heart quilt and then made my granddaughter a lap quilt from the leftovers.
I'm glad I take pictures of my quilts because many of them have flown out into the world!
