It bothers me a lot that edm artists have started using metal style logos. There's an ad for a huge edm event going around with all these metal style logos and it feels like false advertising to me

Some of these underground witch house tracks are so good but mastered terribly. When i play them out, I usually have to remaster it myself

I never understand musicians and producers aversion to learning basic music theory. I promise you it's not that hard and it will only help you. Just know enough to look up what notes are in the key of the song you're working on. There's so many tools nowadays that make it easier

Biggest thing I've learned as a producer over the years is to never try to force something to work that doesn't. Replace samples or sounds that clash. Try to find sounds that work great together without much tweaking. This will make your life so much easier when it comes time to mix

The new Meta policy is fucked up in so many ways. Good thing I'm transgender and mentally ill 💀 The mentally ill part has nothing to do with being trans tho. This and TikTok are the last safe places for trans people. You could say YouTube but I get harassed on YouTube more than any other platform

I saw #nosferatu the other day and I really wanted to adore it like I do with every Victorian movie. Tried my best but I gotta be real with yall. It was way too long and kind of boring. Am I the only #goth who didn't think it lived up to the hype?
