I think it’s worth noting this piece generated the most unsubscribes I’ve seen in a while, and the newsletter version had the lowest open rate in many months. These horrors persist in part because too many people go to great pains to avoid them.

Good coverage w/livestream footage of Camarillo yesterday, where militarized federal forces terrorized farmworkers who, along with community members who faced off and tried to protect each other. For those not local, this is abt an hour fr. LA & where large amounts of produce are grown.
Happening now in Camarillo, protesters are desperately facing off against ICE to try to defend America’s farm workers.

On top of this - if you are a teacher or a parent you need to *urgently* contact your schools and let them know you will not put up with the forced detransitioning or exclusion of trans students from school.

2nd Sinners viewing! went up to BFI Southbank to see the 70mm IMAX projection. the twins being red & blue was obvious on first watch but the fact that EVERYTHING is favoring a red, blue, & yellow palette was so much clearer. the sound mix was superb. tears & goosebumps. stay for the full credits
