Pretty much. I need to finish up my eyelids and redo my tail stuffing, but that's not big stuff. Then it's just printing up some goodies to pass out at the con.
Reservations and anything major is already done. Only fun prep left to do!

I will! It's my second multi-day con (the first being this year's JMoF), so I know what to expect. I also made some tweaks to my suit that'll make things much nicer.

I changed the eyes from solid plastic to mesh, so they won't fog up, and I redid my wing harness, so I'll really be me this time!

I really hope I can go to one of your panels someday. Either Fursuiting or Murrsuiting 101 would be amazing.

Mine has been receding since my late teens, but the change to grey started later and has been taking its sweet time. I'd love to be fully silver, and hope that happens while there's still enough left to enjoy it. 🙂

The N-Box is big enough inside that I can use it for a fursuit changing room. I love that!

Nice! I had fun at the last event, and am looking forward to going again. I think a one-day, relaxed festival is a great addition to larger cons, and provides a great opportunity to meet local furries. ^.^

3-D printing is a lot of fun, but it can also be a serious rabbit hole / money hole to fall into.

I've started out small, with a Bambu A1 Mini, but I've already got my eye on their multicolor setup. Just waiting for the firmware update and Black Friday sale to drop.

It is a bit of work, but not a ton. Getting the heads side to look how I wanted was the biggest job. Between redesigns and test prints, that took about 8 hours. Now that it's done, I can crank out a bunch at once.

Here's the assembler, along with heads and ring prints. I'll do more QRs later.

Thanks! I print then as three separate pieces - heads, QR, & a ring to put around the QR. I can only print 1 color at a time, so the QR piece has a manual filament swap. Once they're all done, I glue them together in a little assembly stand I made that ensures everything lines up.

Both the gryphon and protogen designs were created from art done by the wonderful @kuranaika.bsky.social . The protogen only took one revision thanks to the limited color palette, but the gryphon took 16 tries to nail down. I learned a lot along the way, and am very happy with how both turned out.

Dude...this, on top of the current YouTube mess has got to just absolutely suck in all the worst ways. I hope both situations can be over and done with - in your favour - before too much longer.

Pimoroni makes some great stuff! I'm working on a case for this now. Found some good .stl files, but none quite have the look I'm after. Printing one out to use as a test, but I still need to pick out my battery setup before I settle on a final design.
