Dorandoran Restaurant, Luckyville Grandstand, 2nd floor. 8,500won. Worry a little about this place as it is the only restaurant in the racecourse that is never very busy even though it has been here more than 10 years and is very good

Stepped out of my sports comfort zone this week to go to Les Miserables at Blue Square, 28 years after I saw it on a school trip to West End. Was rather stunned when Alain Boublil came out of the audience at the end. Running to March at Blue Square then transferring to Daegu

It will be an act of unforgivable vandalism when they bulldoze this place in order to build a soulless dome because the Mayor wants Seoul to become "the second city in the world with a baseball dome with hotel rooms with a view of the field"

Holiday Monday attendance and wagering turnover were both between that of a normal Saturday and Sunday. An indication that it was successful is that floors 3&4 of Luckyville Grandstand at Seoul Racecourse, initially not intended to be used, needed to be opened on the day
