Have a lot of eggs so why not do something fun like pavlova with lemon curd. Served with persimmons, too but haha, we’re hogs and didn’t take a pic of that part. But it was very pretty and very freaking tasty.

At some point yesterday, my dog, being herself, managed to get under us when we were cleaning in her quest for anything that may be dropped, managed to get turkey grease on her head. The other dogs discovered that I didn’t get it all off her head and so she is delicious lol

I am still proud of this turkey. It was *perfect* and I don’t say that lightly lol.
It was so frigging good - crispy skin and juicy and dude! It even looked awesome and clearly, I am very humble and was then too 🤣

Verdict is non-disaster. Stuffed pepper filling and cheese in spring roll wrappers and pan fried. Some were spring roll shape adjacent and then did two as patties. Spring rolls worked better but patties have potential. Dog remains jealous and lacking in thumbs.

My kid stole the show! I recognize that I’m biased but it was far more than just me who said so. This kid made several long time high school English teachers cry with their performance. So, so proud of this kid 💗
