Now project just a few more years into the future at the global *required* rate of growth for the current AI bubble. That’s right: in order for the bubble not to burst, they need this to happen for sheer electricity requirements. Otherwise their products are worthless.

Either way, we lose.
Global demand for AI data centers power consumption is expected to exceed the total capacity of California by 2027.
