Hope you feel better! I just watched a crazy good movie called Barbarian. I'd really recommend it. Don't spoil anything about it for yourself if you do though.

Miyamoto is unlikely, I'd say. Busy with movies/park. Expect it to be more focused on games/the switch than a presenter, as has been the case for directs for a while now.

For me, it's just a boring announcement. Every old nintendo console kind of had a thing that made it feel fun and exciting. This is just another switch though. Maybe the direct will be more fun though.

That's fair. I hope you'll consider doing a audiobook for it as well. And although I know we are just acquaintances on the internet, I do think you're a good dude and I am proud of you for hanging in there, despite the constant "setbacks" we'll say. Hope you and your wife are well.

Is there any chance you'd do your Q&A style videos on YT shorts instead? I find that you have interesting stories to tell, but there aren't many places to hear you speak as you. The interview you did with Culturescape was good. Anti-woke grifters tend to try speaking for you, unfortunately.

Celebrity culture in general. TV, movies, music. Politicians to an extent. Social media amplified it, for sure, but people always have had a habit of honing in on personalities that are "in another world". For me, I see everyone equally. Like you, you're just a cool dude who likes games/art.

No kidding. The day after it happened, I spent like an hour watching videos of it just to see how insane and dumb a lot of them looked. Channel 5 on YT is good for this kinda stuff.
