I know full well that this has been happening for a long time, but this is by far the worst year I've ever seen of people turning immediately to Christmas right after Halloween. Dammit, people, don't you know that we have turkeys to drop?

Sam Cooke was among 7 kittens abandoned by the side of the road that my wife took in as fosters. Despite having the biggest personality, nobody wanted him. When it got to October 1st, I wasn't offering up a black cat. He's now our big dog's best friend.
