I think WB is up for sale so I kinda hope Comcasts buys them and they ride the Wicked cash cow by making a Wicked: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, that's kinda a remake, kinda a retelling, but absolutely it's canonically Wicked from Dorothy's POV.

I really think the musicals' story doesn't have to erase WoZ. Wicked really can have its cake and eat it too, it just needs to have its damn cake in first place. While I still appreciate Wicked story for what it is, it act/part 2 really has a WoZ shaped hole in it.

I think there's a weird thing with the Wicked musical, where it's an adaptation of a story that doesn't respect the Wizard of Oz (the Wicked book) but the people behind the musical respect WoZ too much, to the point where they're afraid of touching WoZ at all.

Now if they ever do a blu ray release and say it includes an "English dub" I won't be able to preorder right away and I'll have to find out if it's human or not before purchasing.

I've always wanted to check Banana Fish out, but I'm sorta very much a dub person. But I'll only watch real dubs, with real people and real heart and soul. I also do not stream anything, I like my physical media. So they're sure as hell not getting this dub watchers money.

I still can't believe they really thought this was more acceptable than having more than 1 gay dude option.

After the bookstore I pre-ordered it from delayed it and then quietly canceled my order (without telling me at all) I reordered it (from the same place...) and it finally arrived! Hardcover and looking beautiful! Thanks for sharing this story with us!

I think a change I would have loved would have been to see Dorothy a little more, I get that there wasn't time for it on stage, but it made the original story feel like you're missing a good chunk of the plot. (They don't gotta remake Wizard of Oz, but just maybe show her face and let her talk).

When I saw Wicked I was so floored on how she managed to make me feel every single emotion through her singing. "The Wizard and I", freak'en makes me so heartbroken whenever I listen to it. (I can't wait to feel the emotions in "For Good" I'm hoping to get a good cry from it XD )

I've always wanted to read this story but it was super out of print by the time I found it. Plus I don't think they finished releasing everything in English. Hopefully one day they re-release it and finish it in the west this time.

I gotta admit, I really only play gen 1 Kanto on either stadium 1 or 2 and that dodrio speed up feature is real handy! XD

Sometimes you need good old Kanto! (Or at least remake Kanto. Honestly I love both gens 1 and 3 Kanto! Just depends on my mood).

I cant believe how badly I've neglected Meowstic all these years, its actually shameful... I plan on righting my wrongs and having a male Meowstic on my team in every XY (and now Z-A) playthrough I do forever! XD
