Just wanted to do a quick thank you to all the volunteers and candidates who joined us for our Candidate Unity Walk this Sunday. We walked 7.35km and directly assisted 17 people, talking to many more on the way.

Think this is important data to remember, especially when discussing Canadian healthcare. Universal healthcare is cheaper with more equitable service. If we invested in it more we can get more out of it. Profit does not belong in healthcare.

Barely surprised it is the police choosing to release these repeat and violent offenders back in our communities and try to blame it on the feds or the law, when lawyers clearly disagree. Police pushing for harsher laws and more funding when it seems the issue is the police choosing to release.
