⚡ Quick stat that hit me today: Australia graduates ~17k engineers per year. China graduates ~1.3 million.

At the same time, ~70% of the infrastructure that will exist in 2050 isn’t built yet.

New blog post. I really wanted to rant about some silly things I've seen people do with Lambda functions.

It’s 2025 and somehow this still needs to be said.

Recursion is elegant in theory BUT, in the cloud, it’s a costly disaster waiting to happen.

SDS tools can understand your data in the same way as #MSFTCopilot and @glean but they can also understand permissions. This means they can identify misconfigured documents before a data leak is exposed.
November 15, 2024 at 5:16 AM
This is my example for how this problem can manifest in the real world. This data leak can cause significant issues inside of an organisation for legal, ethical, and economic reasons.
November 15, 2024 at 5:16 AM
Marc Benioff has brought this up several times as one of the reasons corporations are afraid to adopt #MSFTCopilot and other #genAI tools.

Governments and tightly regulated industries aren't taking this lightly. The Australian government has already flagged it as a risk in their #MSFTCopilot trial.
