June 5, 2012, Gila Forrest Fire. This was the only break in the smoke where I was able to get a decent picture. They are terrifying, vast, and overwhelming from the air. I don't know how firefighters (specifically smoke jumpers, since they parachute in) have the courage to fight these fires.

I just think of all the people who thought they were dying because they misunderstood a WebMD entry or some such thing. And now we're supposed to trust an AI robot? 😬 Good for the nurses for pushing back!

We owe it to them to continue the fight here. If they can do it with missing limbs, we must do everything in our power to help them. It's not enough to think "what a pity what's going on there." Reach out to politicians, make yourself heard, do everything you can to stop what's happening in Ukraine.
