The developer's article mentions why they think they got banned and this is consistent with Valve's content curation so far.
They have been okay with violence, porn or other extreme content (provided the game is tagged properly, and if it isn't you get a chance to resubmit).

Your math is pretty suspect.
Steam isn't PC gaming, or are you implying Newell gets a cut each time a person buys Fortnite VBucks or League of Legends... Whatever it is you can buy for it?

Up to the user, there are DP to HDMI converters, or you could just use 4:2:0 signal, which generally isn't that big of an issue for gaming

Sure, most of games can be made to work under Windows after some tinkering and looking up fan fixes, but it most definitely isn't a smooth process

And also I kind of have an issue with Ollie's '15% of games don't work on SteamOS, unlike Windows'
Certainly not my experience, and I even had more luck getting old, XP era and older PC games to run through Proton than from Windows 10

Might make a decent companion piece to Deck, depending on price. For streaming games that are a tad too heavy for Deck's APU without having to faff around with setting up Moonlight on your main PC.
