We're going to the "No Kings Day" rally at Mariposa Basin park on the westside on June 14. We live in the far northeast heights and have room in our car for two people, if anybody wants to ride along.

Albuquerque people, we have tickets for Altan tonight and Art has a nasty cough that he doesn't want to inflict on a concert audience. The tickets are free to a good home, 7:30 at South Broadway Community Center, but you will need to pick them up here in the far Northeast Heights.

The bottom line is that the koi are safe, thanks to their people and the man who has been cleaning their pond for years. That's what's called a bright spot, and don't we all need one today? If anybody can 'splain to me how to share the article, thank you

So, NYT let me try to share an article about a couple in Altadena who managed to save 5 koi from their pond during the fires, but I can't figure out how to get it onto Bluesky. .
