Eighty-three yo MIL puts the Thanksgiving parade on TV then does a running commentary/criticism (mostly criticism) of the broadcast.

The nice thing about being in charge of the menu is that I can just decide that we need to have tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches (cut on the diagonal, of course) for dinner tonight and make it happen.
