And he literally has killed people, and still his followers haven't batted an eye.

In a lot of industries, documentation must be reviewed, updated, and signed off on at regular intervals to make sure that it is still relevant and applicable. I don't see why the Constitution should be any different. 5/5

...but a whole ass Constitutional Convention made up of a true cross section of the demographics of this country. Have legal experts there to help craft the language, but treat it like jury duty - every 10 years you're eligible to be called up for a Constitutional revision. 4/

I think the way our Constitution is written, there are just too many loopholes, too many places where it's left up to the interpretation of the reader. The Constitution should be like any other document, it should be fully reviewed and updated periodically - not just amendments... 3/

I feel like the people who take an oath to uphold the Constitution, who then break that oath, should be forcibly removed from their position, be that Congress, SCOTUS, or Exec branch. Like that's an automatic "nope, you violated the law/the Constitution, you're out". Hold people accountable. 2/

There were so many points between Jan 20 2017 and now when this could have been stopped, but the people who could have stopped it had a vested interest in it continuing, or were just plain bad at their job (Merrick Garland, looking at you). DT never should have been eligible to run again. 1/

Our Constitution and our laws are only as good as the people tasked with enforcing them, and most of those people have abdicated that responsibility.

being unemployed gave me lots of time to get pretty good at stuff that AI can't do
(which also means corporate overlords won't pay me to do it)

The logistics of this have been a RIDE.
Like it started with this generous teacher who put out a call for help for her class and this guy she knew from college was like, "Sure. I can put some food in my Hyundai Elantra."

Now there are volunteers, a foundation, and Costco lore.

How effective is this?

Here's the Costco order. (The items marked $0 are substitutions in case there is a supply chain issue.) Last year the distribution was nearly 35 tons of food. The "leftovers" from when a case doesn't split perfectly - those go to hungry folks too.

Need to fire up a Foodraiser thread soon, but the Costco order is in

Food comes out to $129,606.45 this year, up +2.28% YoY

If you're willing to be one of our per-donor matchers, please let me know!
