WHOOPS, how could I forget?! I was a co-curator for a @museumoftoronto.bsky.social exhibit that featured at the Harbourfront Centre. I hope you checked it out. I gave tours, moderated panels, and did some media hits!

In 2023, I was a community fellow with the Future of Hockey Lab, a social innovation lab developed out of Nova Scotia.

Lots to say about their work, what a "social innovation lab" is at that, but here's their site as a starting point. www.futureofhockeylab.com

This year, I had an essay published in this anthology. I'm biased but I love all the essays. The book was on the non-fiction bestseller list in recent months, so I suppose I'm technically a bestselling author?

I'm also currently writing my next book! A thing, with Dundurn, about Black baseball history – Canadian and American stories about the game. More details to come much later!

In 2021, I published my first book! "Rebound: Sports, Community, and the Inclusive City," published by Coach House Books, seeks to understand the connection between sports and cities. Someone described Rebound to me as "urbanism, from a sportswriter's perspective" 🤓

I've been storytelling a long, long time – and typing it out is blowing my mind!

My bylines exist at Sportsnet, the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, BBC, Spacing Magazine and a bunch of other places. I care to write about everything, but especially sports, history, and cities.
