Damn it. My sweet Dizzi has to have surgery next week or the week after to remove a plate that was put in 6 years ago when he was 3 months old. I’m happy with the vet care, but I’d rather go through surgery myself than subject him to it. Please send virtual treats and love. He is the bestest boy

3 Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos I’ve never seen these birds in the wild before. Top one has been screaming his head off for almost 10 min while his lower tier mates are eating the tree. Not sure why the lookout is announcing their presense w/ authority like this, but bloody hell, this dude is LOUD.
