I see the FDA are going to look into whether vaccines cause allergies. Fine, go ahead. But as a mother of a kid with a few severe allergies, I have to ask – even if they do, what's the plan? Because I'd rather deal with allergies than with diphtheria tbh.

Sometimes, a front page can sum up quite a lot that’s wrong with the world. Including the paper itself which has been so complicit in getting us to a place where children born to refugees could be deported, Trump celebrates despotic wealth and Boris Johnson’s sister moans about not being rich. Ugh.

If I were to sum up my advice to the Democratic party leadership about how to defeat Trumpism, it would be to set aside policy for now and focus instead on articulating a vision of what American society should look like and what role the US should play in a rapidly changing world today.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

Have most people just never been asked to do something slightly or moderately tough for the good of a whole group? Idk, I grew up on stories about rationing during WWII, it always seemed obvious to me that minor inconvenient sacrifices that help the whole community are common and necessary.
I read the Nate Silver piece on Kimmel for whatever reason. Like pretty much every other Silver piece, it’s about how hurt his feelings were during COVID/BLM. Dude will never recover.

In den letzten Wochen war ich 4x – dank Nachwirkungen einer Coronainfektion.
