Routine reminder that no existing religion actually opposes vaccination. “Religious exemptions” are just antivaxx lies.
All of their usual excuses fall apart here. This child had no history of medical problems, & per report no comorbidities were found. She was not malnourished or unhygienic or whatever other ugly things they try to say to justify preventable death.

OK Cardiologists, strap in because we have to talk about GDMT or "Guideline Directed Medical Therapy".
This is the worst acronym ever and I hate it, and I want to stop using it because:
1. Tons of medical therapies are "Guideline directed", you're not the only ones with guidelines
2. It's vague

I am begging the national media to start taking this seriously.
Stop buying the claims that the framing of "temporary" or "pause."
They are altering the review processes of federally funded scientific research from merit-based peer review processes to political screening by ideologues.

This is becoming absurd—federal employees are now being told to remove pronouns from their email signatures. We will always stand by our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, no matter how many things we’re asked to delete or change. Inclusivity is at the core of who we are.

If hospitals offered a service called Hospice+ (it’s the same as hospice but you still get antibiotics), I think a lot more people would sign up for it.

OK, so this was shockingly successful. I wrote 20, 30 "poems" tonight off one-word prompts, which included "love," "quagmire," "cerulean," "witch," "earth" . . . but my favorite was Orioles, written for a young neighbor I have known 22 years.
