Bugonia (2025) was quite good. Having already seen Save the Green Planet, I knew how it was going to end, and yet I was still surprised when the truth revealed itself. I wasn't too fond of Yorgos Lanthimos' last few films, so I'm glad this one restored my confidence in him. 5/5

Sisu (2023) feels like it exists in Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds universe. This is over-the-top nazi revenge porn. Pure historical fiction. It feels a little like Die Hard set during the end of WW2. It's not a Christmas movie, but it feels like it.

Here's a dark thought. Do you think any of Trump's children are products of rape?

Billionaires have produced nothing but super villains. Not a single superhero among them, just villains trying to take over everything.

The Big Shack burger at Shake Shack was yummy. I think it's only for a limited time. 10/10

For hungry boys!

I think to fully appreciate Guillermo Del Toro, one must know the difference between a horror film and a monster movie. I don't think it's that difficult to elevate horror, but it's near impossible to elevate monster movies, which is exactly what he's been doing for decades.

The weirdest thing about The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) has to be the miniature mermaid.

I hope they retcon the "Magical Old Chinese Man" in the new Gremlins movie. That didn't really age very well.

Salaam Bombay! (1988)
Mississippi Masala might be Mira Nair's most well-known work, but this is her masterpiece. I believe it's just as powerful as The Bicycle Thieves by DiSica.

Be safe, kids! Don't drink if you plan on driving, and keep your eyes open for ICE.
