Conservatism isn't conservative. It's a radical movement that has desperately tried to preserve Patriarchal institutional structures and the privileges of the dominant social class, White Europeans, since 1859. Conservatism has no place in functional Democracies.

I am an immigrant from Sweden. It's obvious to us why American government is so inefficient and behind in technology; American Conservatives have deliberately undercut the development of the American Administrative State because they prefer 18th century philosophy to modern knowledge and science.
