the liberals wanted that result. If they didn't, they would have passed electoral reform, because electoral reform was the way to shut conservatives out of forming a government for decades but they would have had to concede seats to more leftist candidates

After inviting the Project 2025 guy up here, I'm pretty alarmed to see them branding it as "Budget 2025" (and even if that is the usual naming convention, it would not be politic to use it anymore)

I'm concerned that the information is being handed over to an anonymous entity requester with a very tight timeline. That lack of transparency sets of alarm bells and hints at nothing good or legitimate in its intent.

The same political consultants, lobbyists, rage farmers, strategists, & dark money funders are at work deploying the same roadmap up here too. See: trans sports wedge (non)issue, AB book bans, jobs above all else, surveillance expansion, push for AI integration, cuts to civil service, and so on.

That was a genuine shock for me, and immediately disqualifying. It was the exact opposite of what the electorate thought they were signalling with their votes -- the exact fear they/ we were trying to avoid with PP et al.
