Decent lawyers should volunteer time and energy to sit in court and advocate for these kids. Sit there then talk to the kids as they come in. Be cool, get them to relax and trust you. I would if I could.
And yes, I bet there are a ton of barriers that preclude this. Maybe I’m dreaming out loud. :(

For folks who care: @jay.bsky.team - what’s w allowing bots or trolls to harass people terribly (i.e. calling me « cunt » repeatedly) for 20 min then letting them erase all comments so I can no longer find them / hold them to account? Seems like we normals need a new platform w accountability yes?
