I agree, not trying to justify the price, it's really scummy. It'd be great if the mac ecosystem was more open as to enable developers to make more free and simple tools/frontends like this

also consider that for laymen (especially mac users) the terminal is uncharted territory and a GUI can be magnitudes more intuitive no matter how you want to spin it.

Being hostile about it will not make them more inclined to learn how to operate terminal applications.

the 3D viewport draws directly to the screen rather than using an FBO since this is running with opengl 1.1. Side effect is that it warps the viewport when the window moves past the edge of the screen
