it turns out that i DO have a microsoft account i don't remember signing into windows with and it has the recovery key
so disaster averted

i just got locked out of my windows because bitlocker acted up, and i don't have the recovery key because i used a local account when setting up win11 (which they clearly don't want you to do)

i could stick to just posting art and things i find important every once in a blue moon
i've spent too much energy worrying about what i should post and thinking of the Audience because i don't want to alienate people who are interested enough in me to follow
