I recommend a rewatch, then. While it is not the deepest or most cinematic movie, it is very fun, and if you like science fiction, you will thoroughly enjoy it.

It is a silly little movie from the 1980s called The Last Starfighter. It is honestly mediocre at best—it isn't even a cult classic. I love it, though.
