Teacher of some pretty great high school musicians. Composer for band, choir, orchestra, and video games.
I’m starting to do more writing and reflecting on the year so far. My goodness, what a year it’s been so far.

The first of a few in the coming weeks is on the Arcadia, which you can check out here!

I really enjoyed the Earthbound USA documentary. What an amazing time capsule of what it was like to be on the Web 1.0 internet in the mid-90s; of unofficial fan pages and IRC and the communities that sprouted from things that we loved.

I really enjoyed this Alpha Flight / Wolverine / Wendigo run in Uncanny X-Men. I also appreciate how they never call the man in green by name, only the “prime minister,” but we know who he is, hahaha 😊

My heart is so full after an incredible evening of music last night. Dr. Jason Caslor and the ASU Wind Ensemble knocked “Arcadia” out of the park last night and gave it a premiere full of life, energy, and joy. I’ll share more as the day goes on, but here’s a taste of the show last night 😊

Okay gang, I put Metroid Fusion down today and I loved it - clocked in at 4 hours 15 minutes, which is fast for games for slow for Metroid. Next options are the Thousand Year Door remake for Switch, Octopath Traveler, or Fire Emblem: Awakening. Do we have thoughts?
