I began piecing quilts in 2002 and progressed to learning how to longarm in 2008 after taking a longarm class at a local quilt shop. I rented time to longarm there for years before I purchased my own mid arm machine.
Gee no wonder you needed hand surgery between quilting and fishing!!! I hope your hands are healing nicely. I am debating if I should have my hands done.
