My partner booked a Hobbit House in Maine as a Christmas gift for me. We spent most of last week playing games in front of a fire and braving the cold to soak in the hot tub.
I highly recommend trying to find some joy, warmth and happiness for yourself when there is so much darkness.

I was predominantly there for Amber's friend memorial. I took very few photos or play many games.
I missed MOST of the homies. A con of that size is very overwhelming.

We went to the Christmas Market, we saw the cult leader of UnPub @sumfatkid.bsky.social wandered around the exhibitor hall a bit to visit some friendos. Now we're back at our hotel for the night.

Trivial Pursuit- Wits & Wagers if the trivia aspect is the real draw if higher player count party game is more of the goal you can't go wrong with Codenames standard or Pictures. Both are equally easy to teach and generally beloved.
Nobody up for gaming? A Gentle Rain is a great solid option. 6/6
