Last night my garden was the victim of a smash and grab. 🐿️ Authorities are still looking for suspects.
A beautiful yellowey-orange sunflower head about the size of a hand. It has a huge chunk missing from it - about 2/5ths, like a pie chart with little nibbles at the edges.

My local cafe in Milwaukee is also a bakery and boulangerie that you can see the inner workings of. Love having a show with my tea.

TIL the Pittsburgh Pirates have their version of the Brewers Racing Sauages: pierogis. How do you know which filling is which? You memorize the hat color. They should have the filling leaking out and/or piled on top!

I am raising money for a winter festival in Milwaukee. In 2024, 200+ people came. This years dates are Feb 8 and 15, 2025. Food, fun and bonfires. Donations go toward keeping all the activities free to attendees. Bring a little joy to deep winter.

Getting ready for a proper snow fall so we can transition from scooters to sleds!
A team of sled dogs catches up from behind to another larger group pulling 2 mushers riding on a wheeled ‘scooter.’ We use voice commands only and run for fun. Nothing is quite as motivating for the pups to zoom as having another sledding team run in ahead of you.
