Went out on a limb & changed up how I taught a skill in my AP class this year and it paid off! My students did so well on the exam. Makes all the hours of work feel like it was worth it

I've forgotten the joy and sadness that comes with semester classes. Half of me is excited for the new group and half of me is sad to see the current crazy all boy class go. They have certainly been entertaining.

In 25 years of teaching I've gotten my share of teacher Christmas gifts. Today's will definitely be one of the most memorable. Fancy shampoo, conditioner & hair mask. Yep, a parent bought me beauty products b/c the class "makes me want to tear my hair out."

The amount of excitement building in my APUSH classes for the annual Hoover Ball Tournament these next two days is amazing.

Looking forward to my annual brawl with the stroller moms in the town Thanksgiving 5K tomorrow. My 11th year. Hopefully this year I'll beat the kid running in a gorilla costume.
