Melanie, my daughter is in the 6th grade now but in her school they do a big 8th grade project and she says she wants to write and self publish a book for it. If you have any suggestions, I would love to pass them along to her!

This is such a sweet question. I'll bet Tracy has a fabulous answer!! For me, I just let my kids know what I'm writing about and ask if they have any suggestions. My older daughter came up with the title for my original book 3 and it was really good! (It would have been called "The Book Baby.")

Right now I'm just hoping for my editor to accept this new book. I'm already 5 books into a 3 book contract and I feel like the well is running dry!!

I write in my office. I'm very lucky because I run a company, so my work time and my writing time overlap a lot. Nobody gives me any problems about it as long as everything gets done. So if I need time to write, I just close the door and write. But I'm a workaholic. I'm at the office 10-12 hrs/day.

Hi! I'm KJ and I'm barreling towards the end of my 3rd trad pub romance. It's at 66k right now and I have about 15k to go! I have 2 kiddos ages 11 and 10 and I'm happy to be here with you all! 🥰

I write in my office. There's a treadmill right in front of my desk. So I start there. Then I sit down and sometimes I light a candle. But my new thing is I am evidently going blind from all the reading/screens so I have glasses now, and I only wear them for writing. Talk about getting in the zone!🤣

Great question. It's completely changed. The TBR is overflowing now, because I've got so many reasons to read besides just wanting to sit down and read a book. Right now I have 5 books I *have* to read (like, for author/work purposes), 2 that I want to read, and one for a book club - all by 2/15.

Gosh, this is tough. Probably out to the west coast. I've never really been there, so all my books are set on the east coast, because "write what you know" lol... I'd like to visit Seattle, Oregon, all of California. But I don't even know enough about it out there to know where to begin!
