One of my favourite socks hasn't made it back from the wash and I'm particularly annoyed because someone had moves my washing (which just has to happen) and so I know it wasn't my fault! I just want my sock back 😭

We have SO MANY LEFTOVERS from the Christmas party so I've almost exclusively been eating that for the last couple of days to try not to waste it.. but it's mostly extremely savoury meat and I really just want some nice sweet carbs.. like a bunch of fruit and chocolate. Hmm..

I dream of one day having enough space/ my own space/ a permanent space to be able to like. Organise everything properly. Have exactly the right storage for the things I want and how I want to use them. Rather than having a bunch of random bits and pieces and trying to make them work.

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

When you're just drunk enough and having enough of a good time that you think 'I'll message mum!' And then.. oh, yea, nevermind..

My nail polish is not cooperating tonight 😭 I put on a sheer sparkly layer on top of my coloured polish and it has somehow softened the polish underneath so now it's all kind of sluicing off together.

Hmm I think my migraines are changing.. it seems I now get after effects as well as the during, and have started getting funny vision before which I never used to. Today I am still very bleh feeling, my head feels heavy and unstable and my neck still hurts. Fun times.

I am not enjoying being simultaneously nauseous from a migraine and hungry from a field work day. I neeed to eat. But I don't really want to eat.. anything. Hmm..

What the actual fuck. No. Fuck off. Fucking dipshits. This country would not function without our regional councils. Jfc. This is the stupidest thing they've ever suggested.
Centralizing so much long term decision making power for reforms which will last decades with elected officials whose incentives are all short term doesn't seem like a great idea #nzpol

No more regional councils - major shake-up of local government announced
The government says it is not a power grab, but about "making local government fit for purpose".

I haven't signed up for secret santa this year. I do love it, but I just don't feel like I have the energy this year. Which is a bit sad. Maybe I'll do some friend gifting this year, since I.. have friends this year.

Such a lovely evening! Someone said 'lake' about an hour before knock off on this nice warm sunny day and we were all like. Hell yea. And there were at lesst 20 of us down enjoying the lake, there were boats and biscuits and beers and chips and ice blocks and it was just such a good time.

Working on how to create some real accountability in my life to get to where I want to. I want. To. Get. Better. Just none of the things work. And my EAP counsellor doesn't seem to understand ADHD. Idk. Do I make a separate account? On here or on insta? Will that help? I need visual check ins.. 🤷‍♀️

Samsung is really bugging me lately with pop up buttons and features that I don't want and I can't turn off but for some reason are the default and are really easy to hit by accident when I'm trying to do what I actually want to do. Like opening a mini pop up of the app when I'm just trying to..

When someone books a shared shuttle and then gets annoyed that it's.. shared.. and other people are going other directions.. like yea we'll get there babe it's late but it'll be fine.
November 21, 2025 at 1:03 PM
Not super impressed that every time airnz makes an on board announcement, it stops the subtitles, and then they have to be turned on again.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, a lot of heavy rock bands are VERY left. This is a very decent thing to do, and not saying you DO have to be left wing (let alone very left wing) to support a women's shelter, but.. a lot of rock is left. 🤘
“We are thrilled with the support – and with Metallica demonstrating people from all walks of life can support grassroots feminist care and advocacy,” Centre Manager Maia Hall said.

I bought a GIANT WOMBAT TEDDY and now I'm just hoping air NZ aren't going to have a problem with me taking it as carry on (I already have a little suitcase and a tote bag) 😂

Okay I booked an airport shuttle but I was a bit confused about the booking time/ pick up time because one place said flight time and one place said pick up time and I didn't want to be late/ miss the shuttle/ have them waiting ages for me.. but then it says in the booking 'this is your flight eta..
