The current mainstream political debate is now about condemning self defense against political violence, which fails to take into account that we don't hold political violence accountable. We in fact defend it on mass in this country. We say Nuremberg be damned, we want free speech.

Honestly if enough links in the imperialist chain broke that we were able to win a revolution here, the first thing I'd try to do is export CEOs to South America, Africa, and the Middle East to be held trial for their crimes.

Here's a really bad example to explain idealism. You ever had a conversation about evolution and they dismiss what you're saying by saying "well think what you want." That is someone giving up scientific ground for whatever they wish to believe instead. Ideas over reality.

Honestly if I was a terrible person in power right now in the US and I wanted to stay in power forever, I know exactly what I would do. First, you let Trump do whatever he wants, then fund soc dems to insane amounts to get them mass elected including the presidency. They pass worker rights on mass.

Honestly I've been moving away from the critical theory crowd. Mostly has to do with the absolutely insane analysis of different movements. Combine that with not being able to make an argument in defense of their ideas. Not being able to prove anything.
