Three days after the UN inquiry declares "genocide" in Gaza the Carney government says they are still waiting for "all the evidence" before taking a stand.
What an epic moral failure.

How the hell can she say she's "protecting the choice of kids"?!
From her big splashy NYT profile ... Alberta premier Danielle Smith proudly talks about "leading the way" on policy targeting trans kids' access to gender-affirming health care.

Great point. He’s never done anything positive for Canadians, or even for his riding. Which isn’t terribly surprising when his entire approach to the world and other people seems to start from a place of negativity. And not a friend to current and future generations, to put it mildly. 👇

Here's a fact most Americans don't know:
The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) is the largest purchaser of wine by dollar value in the world.
The LCBO has shut the flow of all American beer, wine, spirits.

Reminder: They're trying to demoralize you, and they're doing a great job of it. Part of resisting is making time for joy despite the attempts to make you feel this is not the time for it. Love your people. Dig the art that speaks to you. Go to the places where life flows into you. You deserve joy.

Premier Smith's hand picked committee members decided to:

*Raise MLAs salary, and to index future MLA raises (this from the same UCP that de-indexed assorted benefits for Albertans)

*Give MLAs golden parachutes, so departing MLAs will get up to a half year of salary on exit

The #ableg Member Services Committee meeting just wrapped up and it was... ridiculous.

The UCP MLAs used their majority to force through a litany of new spending on themselves.
