Right on!

Alabama finally has someone ready to fight for the Alabama instead of letting Tuberville, a non-resident drifter, run his mouth from Florida.

Doug is stepping in with actual roots, actual plans, and an actual stake in the future of the state.
#DougForAlabama
So I’ve made it official folks: I’ve filed the paperwork to run for Governor of Alabama. It’s time to remind this state of who we are and what we can accomplish together.

Democrats are doing well with affordability as a talking point.. They need to also hammer home that Republicans can't or won't govern !!!! Hoe many years have they had to come up with a health care plan.. Come on give me a break!!!

The government is shut down because Trump and the Republicans are hellbent on taking health care away from you.

And they won’t even come to the table to talk to us about it.

This is not about politics. It's about people.

Let’s break it down:

Washington Post reports polls show Republicans are to blame.

- Weakest September jobs report since 2011

- Shuts U.S. government down, gives $20 billion to Argentina

- GOP Speaker won't seat 218th Discharge Vote from AZ.

He wants to dictate what the press can say.

Whom a company can employ.
And to whom the law shall apply.

He who wants all this is NOT a president,
But strives to be a dictator.
And all who succumb are not citizens,
But subjects.

Step 2: Lose Chinese soybean market to Brazil.
Step 3: Bail out your nutty right wing buddy Javier Milei.
Step 4: Lose soybean market to Milei, too.

Please call your Dem rep and demand they not do this.

How completely idiotic to postpone the inevitable pain until after the midterms.
Honestly so puzzled at how the Dems think *delaying* insurance cuts to after the midterms is good politics for them.
This is not the safe course, it's a reckless gamble that the party will magically rebound from record unfavorable polling numbers by quietly helping Republicans fund their agenda and avoid a major electoral problem until just after the midterms.

The problem: Mortgages signed by the Paxtons contained inaccurate statements declaring that each of those three houses was their primary residence, enabling the now-estranged couple to improperly lock in low interest rates, according to an Associated Press review of public records.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Senate hopeful, claimed 3 homes as his primary residence
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and his wife, Angela, are longtime owners of a $1.5 million home in a Dallas suburb. In 2015, they snapped up a second house in Austin.

Newsom: Perhaps the president could deploy the National Guard in every corner of Mississippi. Murder rate is out of control there. And the governor may want to make that phone call.

More people in Ohio need protection from violent crime than do people in D.C.

Trump has decided to join Pol Pot, Stalin, Hitler and other great villains in history as someone who is seeking and working towards the death of millions of people.

We are witnessing levels of inhumanity from the the US govt now that is breathtaking, staggering, terrifying and deeply, deeply wrong.
Just awful: A 75-year-old man just died in ICE custody, ICE has revealed in a notice to Congress.

But here's the rub: This man, a Cuban national, was first paroled into the US in 1966—nearly 60 years ago! They were set to deport him anyway.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode deficits

3) Use the debt as an excuse to demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

I remember when Obama said working-class voters "get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations" and it nearly sank him. But Tuberville will face no political fallout.
In Tommy Tuberville's home state of Alabama, 23% of all personal income comes from transfer payments from the federal government.

Alabama is the tenth most dependent on federal funding, getting $1.80 in spending back for every $1 its citizens pay in taxes.
