Our first in-ovo sexed flock in the U.S. 24,000 day-old hens arrived this morning. A little over a 100 male chicks hatched, too. We’ll take these to a farm later today, where they will be raised for meat.

Ethical farming is a tough shell to crack. Kipster's goal is to raise roosters, the brothers of the
laying hens, for meat. Due to lack of infrastructure in the US, it's not on the market yet. As an interim step, in-ovo sexing innovation brings us one big step closer
