I got scattered thoughts 🔎🚃🗿🍵
Replayed Pokemon X. I have a lot of problems with this game, but despite it all I had so much fun and more appreciation. The story is underbaked and feels rushed, but I love the lore and ideas it was going for. Mechanically, it’s so much fun and I like the vibe the game has.

Watched Eternity. It’s such a funny and beautiful look at love and happiness over a lifetime. Showing we’re a collection of memories and shaped by those moments that can change how we see our own happiness. The happiest time of your life isn’t the same as having a happy life.

Watched Sentimental Value. I think it’s good but I really wanted to fall in love with it. It’s weird because I think it has the ingredients for me to like but somewhere along the way it just barely doesn’t connect with me to be great. The performances and the direction are great!

Watched Rental Family. A beautifully, tender story. Making you reflect using lies and illuminating the genuineness in it. Showing a glimpse of aftereffects of cultural issues and the importance of forming bonds with others. It got me crying a lot and feeling warm and fuzzy inside

Watched Angel’s Egg. It’s so technically and artistically fantastic! The vagueness is a double edged sword. There’s an initial disconnect but I love that it gives so much room for anyone to come out with something wholly their own. The more I let it sit the more I like it.

Watched Linda Linda Linda. So serene and down to earth. I love this feeling being dropped into an event in someone’s life that it gives and how it’s also a small time capsule of the time. Sing your heart out and carry those feelings into adulthood!

Watched Bugonia. I had fun with it! It was a trip and that last act was crazy. It had me tense and in awe! Emma and Jesse gave great performances. You never know what kind of things people go through that made them who they are and do the things they do.

Watched Die My Love. A weird trip but I liked it. A love unable to adapt to a major change in life, and illuminating the things you love about a person turning sour. The editing was erratic and jarring, teetering between enhancing it and making things harder to parse.

Watched Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl. Not too much to say as it’s only 35min of the start of a series, but it was enjoyable and got me interested for what’s to come. The action beats are well choreographed and stunning, and the brutality and creepiness in this series cuts deep.

Played Holllow Knight: Silksong. I LOVE THIS GAME!Loved the difficulty! It was extremely frustrating but it’s also what makes it extremely fun. Overcoming the obstacles was cathartic. It’s so dense in every facet of the game and that gives so much insight to the world. It’s peak!

Watched Little Amélie or the Character of Rain. Incredible animation that breathes so much vibrancy, energy, and expression into life itself. Embracing life through culture, identity, and despite losing the innocence we start with that we see the world through. Life is beautiful.

Watched Éiru. Fantastic! The anti-war sentiment, seeing the humanity in your opposition, and how that changes why you’re fighting. We all feel the same about helping our own people so we should extend that hand to others as well. It’s beautifully animated and vibrant. Loved it!

I miss the YouTube app. I’m still waiting for the Switch 2 version 😭

Watched Blue Moon. A glimpse of a person’s life from one night that vaguely paints a whole picture. So much information can be gathered to get an insight of who they were. Transcending through time by way of people’s memories and the legacy you left behind. It’s amazing!

Read Otonari Complex. It’s a cute and fun read! It struggled a bit to grab me at times but it came together nicely. Felt warm and fuzzy by the end! Like how gender norms were used to facilitate these feelings we have with labels. Ultimately the feeling itself is more important.

Watched Wicked. The music and choreography are good, and I like the two leads’ dynamic. While it was interesting, I was less into the latter half of the film as I really preferred the school life and untangling Elphaba’s relationships with everyone, but it was a good time!

Watched Back to the Future. Very fun and love the energy. It’s charming and such a comfy watch. The future isn’t set and you have the means to shape it in the direction you want to. Standing up for yourself is the start. Also the ending is so iconic it’s amazing!

Watched Chainsaw Man - the Movie: Reze. I liked the arc in the manga but this adaptation blew me away! It elevated it so much! It was so dreamlike, letting a moment in time be captured in normalcy. A glimpse of the life that could have been if reality wasn’t what it was.

Watched Chainsaw Man - The Compilation Part 2. After finishing both movies, I do think the tv version is better but it’s nice for what it is. It made me appreciate all over again how I like the way the anime was directed for the most part. The non-action moments shine through!

Watched Chainsaw Man - The Compilation Part 1. It’s fun going back to this series again and seeing Denji being a goof with everyone. It’s hard seeing him get used but I’m also happy that he gets people to warm up to him. His dynamic with Pochita and Makima is great!

Read Drawing Romance. It was very fun! It’s messy and it not taking itself seriously is both annoying and charming. Despite not liking it at the start it grew on me as it went on. I really like how it tackles relationships and the stuff surrounding it.

Watched 100 Meters. I wish it was longer! I felt at points it transitioned too fast so the full impact wasn’t there. Despite that, it’s such a spectacle! The passion was on full display on every level. There’s always one truth: the joy that sparked it all is what keeps us going.

Watched The War of the Worlds. It was alright. I didn’t really get into it. I loved the special effects though. The Martian’s designs were cool and I loved how mysteriously they were portrayed the whole way through. We rarely see them and only a few things are ever made certain.
October 14, 2025 at 4:41 AM
Watched The Long Walk. I was tense the whole time but by the end when the credits rolled all my nerves came at once and I was shaky walking out. That was an experience. There’s so much to unpack and it loudly says it all in your face, I love it!

Watched The Thing. Fantastic! The characters were so charming, the tension was built up so well I was getting so many goosebumps, and the special effects aged amazingly. Loved the psychological toll of the lack of trust and the fear of the unknown wrapping around the group.
