SHIP LOG 031 - UNBELIEVABLE! My parents decided to leave Mars’ orbit WITHOUT touching down… we dropped a package to the Mars Base (w/ some of MY cookies 😤) and just… LEFT. Worse of all, they never told me WHY. I’m sure they have a good reason… but it all seems VERY DUMB.

SHIP LOG 030 - Still sitting here in Mars’ orbit, while mom and dad have endless closed-door meetings with the scientists down at the base. Come on, I want to get down there… I can almost touch the pink sand!

SHIP LOG 029 - Here we are, my friends… Earth to Mars in less than a MONTH! I asked dad if we could visit the scientific base down there, and he said “We’ll see”. COME ON, that’s the only permanent martian base our science-denier planet still has. AND IT’S RIGHT THERE!

SHIP LOG 009 - Another day in the Astrea: breakfast, a million boring tasks, hit the gym, another million boring tasks, science class with Dad, help Mom in the shop, dinner then video games (SINGLE PLAYER ONLY - the lag would be unbearable this far from Earth).

SHIP LOG 008 - You know it's summer vacation and parents tell you to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE? What if your house was travelling a billion miles an hour across the solar system? Would they still let the kid go out? Well my parents did, but are not the normal kind.

SHIP LOG 007 - If the ASTREA, humanity’s first warp-capable ship, feels like a family home, that’s no coincidence. We lived in it for a year while it was being built, at bay 616 of the ORBITAL SHIPYARD. My room had the best view of Earth, until that SPACE ELEVATOR blocked it. 😤

SHIP LOG 006 - I said my dad is the smartest person I know? Yes, but my mom NAOMI CHASE is smarter. With no high school diploma, she became the Lead Engineer for the SPACE PROGRAM, working nights MacGyver-ing a junk ship into the mighty ASTREA - a warp-capable piece of junk 😂

SHIP LOG 005 - You probably heard of my dad, NILES CHASE. He’s a scientist on TV; He's famous for teaching about EXOBIOLOGY, (aka “alien life”). He’s the smartest person I know, and taught me everything I know about science, and he makes amazing ZERO-G PANCAKES! 🥞

SHIP LOG 004 - The primary purpose of our mission is to look for ALIEN LIFE outside our own little blue planet. My parents promised I can name the first organism we find! I’m hoping it’s some kind of SPACE PLATYPUS… I even sketched it, what do you think?

SHIP LOG 003 - Meet our fearless crew! My dad NILES, my mom NAOMI and me, NOVA. We love each other and go everywhere together… even to the edge of the solar system. “ARE WE THERE YET?” (Haha my parents are so sick of that joke) 😁

SHIP LOG 002 - This the spaceship Astrea, our Home away from Earth… Part research vessel, part vacation RV, with everything a family of three would need for an extended science trip across the solar system!

SHIP LOG 001 - This is NOVA CHASE aboard the ASTREA, humanity’s first Warp Drive Spaceship. Looking back at Earth, a small blue dot that can fit in the palm of my hand… I wish I could just grab it and put it in my pocket, so I can take all my friends with me. 🥲

SHIP LOG 651 - MAYDAY! This is NOVA CHASE aboard the ASTREA, reporting from the depths of the solar system… We've been caught in a meteor shower, hull integrity compromised, only 20% atmosphere left! If anyone can hear me, please respond, and uh…
