Why is this information, which is essentially the nut grad explaining the context here, buried in the 18th paragraph?

The 3rd and 13 still bugs me. This is what Hurts saw at the top of his drop. All four receivers essentially ran to the sticks and stopped. Brutal and all too common route combo. Maybe he could put it on Dotson short of the sticks or 88 in a tight window. Only thing open was the outlet to Barkley.

This is SMALL portion of the No Kings march up Market Street in San Francisco, which started about 90 minutes before I recorded this. It’s the tail end of the protest.

Dodgers fans taking their time getting to the game today. Weak. The team should be stripped of last year’s World Series championship. #phillies #dodgers

lol in case you were wondering if Ben Smith is up to moment. What a nonsensical pathetic dodge.

This quote in particular from Dak makes it seem like he really dislikes Parsons.

Good point by Paul Krugman about the ignorance and recklessness of DOGE

Good stuff from @jfallows.bsky.social about how Trump and DOGE will make commercial aviation more dangerous.

Last there is Sanger’s misguided read on Zelenskyy, claiming he was naive & “took the bait.” What’s the evidence for that? And why was it bad for Ukraine to walk away from this shitty minerals deal, which didn’t include future security guarantees? Trump was going to screw over Ukraine regardless. 7/

Perhaps it has something to do with Trump’s primitive views on trade. Sanger mentions Trump’s perspective that countries running trade surpluses with the U.S. are taking advantage of us. Are they though? Per @pkrugman.bsky.social, trade surpluses and deficits are neither good nor bad. 5/

Then there’s his assertion that maintaining alliances with democratic capitalist counties sometimes “came at a cost to American consumers.” How? To just state this as fact without elaboration or explanation is odd. What are the costs? 4/
March 1, 2025 at 6:45 PM
There are some significant flaws in David Sanger’s analysis for @nytimes of the fateful meeting between Trump/Vance and Zelenskyy at the White House. The first is the framing in the lede that Trump wants to “return” the United States to the era of “raw great-power negotiations.” 1/

Pleasantly surprised to see there are Federalist Society types who will make a stand on principle.

Omg look this goblin. Many people are saying Emil Bove narrowly lost out on the title role in “Nosferatu.”

Great piece by @maxread.info introducing me to the term “soy right,” which captures the perceived victimhood, aggrieved entitlement and lack of accountability that define the online MAGA male.

From @pkrugman.bsky.social this morning: It’s time to acknowledge Trump and Musk are attempting a coup.

Credit where it’s due to Jonathan Swan and Maggie Haberman for writing plainly and directly about Trump here (though I could quibble with a couple word choices). More of this please.

Three @latimes.com columnists are getting the @pkrugman.bsky.social treatment, according to @oliverdarcy.bsky.social, having their columns per week reduced from two to one.
