Huge fan of “Breaking Bad” and Vince Gilligan. I like Rhea Seehorn. But “Pluribus” has been a slog so far. Carol is unsympathetic as a protagonist - a drip. Seehorn plays her with a level of anger that makes her really unpleasant. And the conceit leads to a lack of dramatic tension and conflict.

It’s remarkable how Trump has instinctively followed a fascist/authoritarian playbook since 2016. Attack the media, then universities. Target minorities as the enemy. Assert control over the military. Threaten opponents. Co-opt business. He’s not a student of history, but he’s hit every mark.
