It is, yeah. All of the updated wiring that was installed in the ‘90s through baseboard conduit seems to be working fine, so I’m baffled at how selective it is.

Pluses: we have HVAC, hot water, and Internet. Checked out the breaker box with the thermal camera and I’m not seeing any suspiciously hot wires or smelling anything. So it could be worse.
