Anyone is welcome to make their own chats as well. A pro political chat could be made by anyone wanting it.

Holding an apolitical chat space doesn't make someone apolitical themselves, or conservative. They may actively speak politically else where. For me, it's a huge relief to have a space where I don't have to be constantly reminded of the state of our country. It's a reprieve.

These discussions can be had anywhere else at anytime. For local/group chat moderators, modding a space where politics can be discussed is probably incredibly stressful. That's why the venting channel was taken out.

I know we share some local chats. I think this is generally a good idea as things can get heated very quickly and tension can arise between members. Some people just need a space to feel secure and safe, without the over hanging presence of potentially tense conversation

My anxiety has been lessening and lessening as I get my health back on track after some traumatizing medical stuff, but I've still yet to get back into the gym/back to good eating habits
