I might have to try going to five, I’ve been a six energy purist for so long, but I do run 3 Zards at the minute
November 16, 2024 at 7:32 PM
Clean list this, how are you finding the 5 energy?

I keep meaning to switch over to the Dusk line

Who’s the cretin? Wanna know who to avoid.

Sounds like a plan

If you need any help prepping Zard give me a shout, played nothing but the deck since its release and made Top 128 with it so hopefully can lend a hand

If you get a chance to do the Raid format btw, definitely do it

If you stop enjoying main aswell don’t just slog on as their is so much to do at these events it’s better to just drop and do sides
November 16, 2024 at 2:59 PM
When it was my first event I just jumped it, it’s much more chill than MtG GP style events. It’s still comp obviously but there’s a calmer nature

If you’re not going to London EUIC it is also the only UK Regional if that swings the decision

I know they have some mats as prizes, maybe not the most recent one for the event but they might do

The vendors tend to buy them from players and sell them so I reckon you’ll be able to pick up the event mat while you’re there
November 16, 2024 at 2:51 PM
Side events are also only like 7 quid a go
November 16, 2024 at 2:40 PM
If you want a really competitive experience then definitely main event. The playmat and water bottle are really nice and it is a fun day.

If you just want to have a chill day, see some vendors, play a few lower stakes games and win a couple of prizes then I can’t recommend side events enough.
November 16, 2024 at 2:40 PM
Word of advise: the main event is very fun, but there is also a ton of on demand and structured side events going on both days that give tickets for for a prize wall

I’m personally not main eventing Birmingham because I can only be there one day.

You get a Playmat, an event promo, a water bottle and a bag think, they usually announce the exact stuff closer to the time
November 16, 2024 at 1:07 PM
€60 I think
