#hopecore I was handed this on my way into #DC for work today.

Some kind folks with posters saying "your work matters" with hearts on it & saying uplifting things like "don't give up, ur work matters, we love & appreciate you!"

It touched me. I'm hoping the love can be shared. The power of hope.

I don't frequently do this. But this is basically the way that they will effectively control who can and can't fly. This is bad. This is very, very bad.

If you think you're in danger to be affected, please seek asylum elsewhere. Get out. Get out now. Get out while you can.

Hey! So Trumps white house is pushing autism speaks rhetoric saying that Autistic people, ADHD people need to essentially be "prevented" by making american healthy again. He is equating weight and pre-diabetes to being autistic, which is genetically heritable.

Here's why this is propaganda.

Hey! It's black history month. Let's celebrate black history. President Gerald Ford declared it nationally in the 70s, but it was originally black history week in the early 1900s, through leadership and influence by Dr. Carter Woodson. ⬇️

Your #crochet timeline break! The world is getting scarier, but I'm finding joy in my craft.

I've blocked this doily to help release the stitch pattern, relax the stitches, and lay flat and even. I love how this doily came out! It's so important to block your lace crochet. #yarn #fiberarts

Highlighting this excerpt on the National Low Income Housing Coalitions statement on Trump's federal funding block, and the groups of people it will affect regarding housing:

The precedent he's setting is reckless, and is a direct betrayal to the safety and security of the American people.

This is the last paragraph in the federal pause on student loans.

No more loans can be issued during the pause, and they want to "revoke" loans issued to "underperforming recipients".

This feels like the first step in prosecuting folks who have not paid loans/rely on loans to get an education.

I know there's a lot of scary shit happening right now. But our brain needs mental breaks.

Here's a break in your timeline: a picture of a doily I crocheted and the new one I'm starting.

Reply some good news that's happened for you today or recently so we can celebrate each other ❤️
